Digital Applications Course Description:
Length/Credits: 1 semester – 1 credit
Open to: Grades 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Computer Applications I
A business course that prepares students to use computerized devices and software programs to handle communication-related school assignments effectively and to develop communication competencies needed for personal and professional activities after graduation.
Students learn the capabilities and operation of high-tech hardware and software and develop proficiency using a variety of computer input and output technologies including touch keyboarding, speech recognition and handwriting recognition.
Knowledge of hardware, software and input and output proficiencies are applied to communication situations requiring problem solving and critical thinking.
