Chemistry Honors

Chemistry I 1-2 Honors Course Description:

Length/Credits: 2 semesters –2 credits
Open to: Grades 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Algebra I or Teacher Recommendation

This Course is designed to meet the needs of students with strong science and mathematics skills.

Chemistry IH-2H will cover the same topics as Chemistry I 1-2, but at a faster and more in depth pace so students online will need to spend more time in the content.

Additional topics may also be explored, and increased memorization will be required. There will be numerous experiments throughout the course that were designed to use simple/safe, everyday home items which will allow students to synthesize useful models of the structure of matter and the changes it undergoes.
