Dual Credit Polyscience 111 (Government) Course Description:

Length/Credits: 1 semester – 1 High School Credit / 3 Vincennes College Credits
Open to: Grades 11, 12
Prerequisite: Students must have a 3.0 and their counselor's approval to Achieve Virtual's office.

A study of federalism, theories of the origins and purposes of government and other aspects of the central government, including pressure groups, political parties, and the electoral process. Emphasis is also placed on constitutional backgrounds and the organization and functions of the executive, legislative, and judicial segments of the national government.
