Math 102 College Algebra

Dual Math 102 College Algebra Course Description:

(Pre-Calc/Trig. High School Credit)
Length/Credits: 2 semesters – 1 High School Credit / 3 Vincennes College Credits
Open to: Grades 11, 12
Prerequisite: Students must score a 74 on the Accuplacer Test or 70 on the Compass test – see our counselor for details about these pre-requisite tests.

Designed as a pre-calculus course for the study of functions (including polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic) and their graphs; includes transformations of functions, operations of functions, solution methods for linear and non-linear equations, systems, and inequalities, and selected topics from analytical geometry. Utilizes graphing technology.

The corresponding high school credit can be: Algebra II-1, Algebra II-2, Pre-calculus, or Trigonometry.
