Introduction to Computer Concepts

Dual Credit Introduction to Computer Concepts Course Description:

Length/Credits: 1 semester – 1 High School Credit / 3 Vincennes College Credits
Open to: Grades 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: None

This course is designed as a one-semester study for students from all areas of concentration. Students will be exposed to the historic, current, and future roles of information systems as well as the importance of computers in all aspects of our modern society. General hardware and software features of modern systems will be discussed. Current word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software will be covered.

You must have Microsoft Office 2010 software — Word, Excel, and Powerpoint to complete the required coursework. You must also have internet access to the Blackboard website.
