Summer School

1. New to Achieve Virtual families: Click on "Enroll" button (upper right). Returning to Achieve? Skip to step #3.

2. A Skyward Guardian Account Request creation window will pop up and new students will need to have the guardian information completed and follow the prompts. This should be a personal email that can be monitored in case our automated messaging is spammed.  Students who register using their school email addresses may not receive the return messages if they get spammed, and students do not have access to school spam filters. Look for an email to the guardian email address when submitted (should be immediate; check spam)—you’ll log in as the guardian and jump to step #4 below.

3. Returning to Achieve Virtual families: Students who have taken Achieve courses previously already have a Skyward guardian account. Click on the link below to access Skyward and login or click on “Forgot Password” if you forget the password (guardian usernames are the email addresses). Contact us at achieve.registration@wayne.k12.in.us if you have a previous guardian account and are unable to access it.

4. Once the guardian is logged in, they will select “New Student Online Enrollment”. This will pull up the New Student Enrollment Application Form. This should be done for each student, even if they’ve been enrolled before. There are 7 stages or boxes to click through. Stages 3, 4, 5, and 6 can just be accessed and scroll to the bottom and click the “Complete” button (you do not need to enter immunization, emergency contact, etc…). Stage 7 is required.

In the Student Profile box (#1), be sure to select “Current Year”. Please complete all fields with an “*”.

5. For the 7 stages, be sure to click on “Complete Step 1 & move to Step 2, etc…” at the bottom of each stage. You should observe green check marks if you completed each section correctly. The form in stage #7 (Additional District Forms) is where you’ll add in the course request(s). If you don’t see the Additional Forms, you have not selected AVE SS (Summer School - AVE) as the enrolling school in Box #1. Be sure the correct school is selected.

6. Then hit “Submit Application to the District” - see the “Process” below for follow-up details.

Each day, Achieve Virtual will share registered student names with course requests to schools’ counselors (shared via Google Sheets). If your school approves, you’ll be scheduled for your classes by June 8th. This is not an immediate process as someone in our office hand schedules every summer school student. When you’re placed into the class, our system (Skyward) will send you an automated email notifying you of your course placement; this will happen for each class you’re scheduled into. Teachers will reach out with introductions by the afternoon of June 8th to help students get started.

All summer school guardian emails who registered students will be sent student login creation instructions when their applications are processed, and we’ll send reminder instructions during the week of May 18. Please monitor spam too.

Your school will need to approve all course requests. Do not create a new application. Have your counselor email us the update to your course requests to achieve.registration@wayne.k12.in.us. New applications for students already registered will be declined. Once we close registration at 4pm EST (the close of our business day) on Friday, May 15th, our website and registration tab will state we’re no longer accepting summer school students. The application will no longer be available. We do not maintain waiting lists.

Students have two weeks from June 8, 2026, to decide if they will drop their class(es) without receiving an “F” for an incompletion and receive a full refund if they paid for it.

Safe Drop / Refund Deadline is Friday, June 19th at 4:00 pm EST (no drops or refunds after that date). **There is no autodrop process - if you don’t request a drop in the first 2 weeks, you’ll remain enrolled and transcribed a grade (F grade for those who don’t finish).
